Look… I watched almost every episode of southpark… Several of them had Jesus being killed. Me being a Catholic ofcourse i was upset. BUT THE POINT IS THAT IT IS JUST A JOKE. I am upset that they censored Mohamed though…
Ofcourse there is a borderline in everything including freedom of speech. However i do not understand why you Muslims get so touchy when someone mentions Mohamed on a cartoon. I mean we laugh when we see Buddah snorting Crack, we laugh when we see Jesus Christ watching internet porn, and we LOLOLOLOLOL when we hear about SeaMan.
but we cannot see Mohamed… this is America. We should be free to Say whatever we want.
However in some of the Muslim world you are not, in some cases you maybe killed…
Let we see this episode the way it was suposed to be seen.

Matt and Trey had Muhammad depicted as a regular looking guy originally, the same way as intended in the Cartoon Wars episodes. The “What I learned” speech was all about how censorship is wrong and nothing should be off limits to make fun of. These guys ripped on 9/11 in two episodes and no one seemed too upset. Comedy Central censored Muhammad’s image and the speeches by Kyle, Jesus and Santa.
Listen here yall… It is not forbidden to show or draw Muhammed. They just think that people shouldn’t because he’s a godly image to the religion… The only reason for the censorship is clearly because of threats from terrorists and psychos who didnt care enough to learn enough about their own religion.

I really think they should stop making jokes about religion. Nomatter how fun it is, there is always someone getting hurt. It’s not their fault; You should respect their choices of life. I know it’s satire, but please, don’t mess with religious questions. it is a serious deal, man.

If your believes are ridiculed or challenged then you must rise above and be a better person for it, being able to see your own views from over peoples perspective and understanding how or why it’s being portrayed and accepting it. I thought the episode was awesome as i think the subject is under-publicised (IRONIC).

Wow so many ignorant people, just because we don’t like our prophet being made fun of doesn’t mean we cant take a joke? We dont make fun of Jesus or any other prophet either. Our religion says you can’t show the picture of the prophet, Christians dont, so if they wanna show Jesus they can, no right to insult our prohpet though
You all do understand that the south park writers and animators put the censors in, not the network censors. The point was to make fun of the fact that individuals misinterpret cartoons and TV shows. And it was the 200th episode so they probably thought they should celebrate with a highly controversial episode since their entire humor is based on being controversial. Similar theme to imagination land. And Jesus is killed in many episodes because Jesus is most commonly known for, well… dying. And they probably pulled this episode from southparkstudios.com to either make a point, for the episode to always be seen as controversial, or because comedy central just did not want to take they heat.
Just enjoy and laugh at the episode. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.
